MEDTEQ experience

Working with alarm standards for more than 15 years as they have evolved from EN 475 through to the latest edition IEC 60601-1-8/A1:2012. Published an article in 2009 which highlighted the problems with using an ISO 3744 free field, designed for sound power measurement, for point based sound pressure measurements as required by the original standards (this has since been partially addressed in A1:2012).
